New York Mets equipment trucks depart for Port St. Lucie

The annual equipment pilgrimage from Flushing, N.Y., to Port St.
Lucie, Fla., began late Tuesday morning, when the skies gave no
indication of what was to come.

With an assist from Mr. Met, the mascot of moving, workers loaded all
sorts of Spring Training paraphernalia onto a 10-wheeler and sent it on
its way to the club's training camp headquarters on the East Coast of
Florida. The truck, depending on the snow, is likely to arrive at Port St. Lucie before the weekend.
