World Plone Day (WPD) is a worldwide 24-hour event of Plone with the goal to promote and educate the worldwide public about the benefits of using Plone and being part of the Plone community.

We recently presented a talk for WPD25 entitled "Baseball, Farming, and Smarthomes: When Volto Meets 3rd-Party APIs. This talk showcases volto-baseball, a Plone application we built that integrates statistics, standings, and other baseball data into this website through the API.
