Opening Day 2010 - Buehrle Bear

Flashblack from the old blog about everybody's favorite White Sox, Mark Buehrle who made an outstanding play to prevent an infield hit!

Mark Buehrle turned in the most memorable defensive play from opening day since 1996 when Rey Ordonez threw out St. Louis Cardinal Royce Clayton at home plate from his knees in left field.

Buehrle fielded a ball that was hit off Cleveland Lou Marson's bat, off Buehrle's foot, into foul territory, into Buehrle's glove, through his legs as he's tumbling ass end over band box, and into first baseman Konerko's bare hand for the out.
